The Queen Elisabeth Hall is without a doubt the absolute icing on the cake of A Room with a ZOO. This brand new auditorium-style concert and conference hall offers 2000 seats, and is the showpiece of A Room with a ZOO.
Thanks to the unique shape of the hall and the adjustable panels on the ceiling designed by Kirkegaard Associates, the Queen Elisabeth Hall has perfect acoustics and sound resonance. The hall provides every comfort for visitors and has a truly beautiful design with wooden walls and brass balustrades.
It is home to the world-famous Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, the largest and foremost symphonic orchestra in Flanders. It is a truly unique concert and conference hall.
Added value:
- A wide variety of technical options and possibilities, which offer the highest comfort to conference delegates and meeting participants, accommodating all their audio-visual needs.
- Multifunctionality vs. fast rotation, thanks to a minimal turnover time (production set-up and take-down). Lightning and scenery are located above the auditorium ceiling. This allows for the combination of an academic plenary session in the afternoon, with a classical concert at night.
- An extensive logistics area with a.o. press rooms, storage space, and elevators providing disabled access to each hall.
