The Carnot Wing has 3 floors. The rooms on the first floor are the Gorilla Rooms. The Gorilla is an important animal for our venue, as the ZOO’s silverback Matadi is our icon for instant corporate social responsibility (Instant CSR).

The rooms on the ground floor are named after an animal that lives on the ground; the endangered okapi. The okapi is an essential part of the ZOO’s history. The Antwerp ZOO was the first ZOO in the world to have one on display.

All rooms on the second floor are named after birds.

We offer our in-house Elisabeth Catering facility that treats your guests and colleagues to refreshing drinks, and custom-prepared and delicious menus. In line with our sustainability policy, our catering includes vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives to our starters, mains and desserts.
